    need new levers...help!!

    I have a set of Avid Mechs with old crappy avid levers.

    I really need new levers.

    any recommendations.....I would like to stick with Avid Levers?
    Light is always good as so is cheap...

    I have the avid sd 5's on my NRS. Working great so far, just the lever bent from a recent crash. The speed dial adjustment helps alot since you can set whether you want a firm or soft pull for the overall feeling of the brakes. You can get the 7's also but its basically the same with the added view ports, which makes it a little lighter (if your into weight).

    Have been using Avid levers with my Mechs and they work great. I am looking for something different though because the levers are not the best feel for badfinger breaking with twist shifters.
