My Hayes Carbon Strokers work so damn well....

I've been riding them about a year now... and with Shimano XT centerlock 203mm rotors and the schweet softer compound pads that Hayes sends out when people have weird squeeking from the OEM pads, they frigging rock. Mega power when I need it, I can run the levers just where I want them with the adjusters, and the 'hook' on the end of the lever is nice for one finger. I love 'em. Oh, and they modulate awesome too.

I'm riding them on an 09 Nomad and haven't been able to bake them and geared up I'm in the 230+ area for weight. I'd like to think I ride pretty fast/hard so I say yes, they would be great for that.

    But there's also the Ace's.
