    Mechanical Matchmakers?

I'm entertaining the idea of finding a mechanical brake lever that will work with a matchmaker with SRAM X7. I'm using BB7's and love them, so I don't want to switch to hydraulics yet.... so yeah...

TLDR: Using BB7's want to use matchmaker device with a mechanical brake lever. Any out there?

Let me make this as simple as posible, since I apparently failed to do so last time.
Here is my current component setup:

    Drivetrain: '10 SRAM x7
    Brake Caliper: Avid BB7
Brake Lever: Avid FR-5 *Not compatible with Avid Matchmaker*

I want to find a Mechanical Lever (Not Hydraulic) that can utilize the Avid Matchmaker Integrated Shifter Mounts (or the hope/formula equivalents) in order to utilize with my new SRAM x7 groupset.

@jjc155, I hope this clarifies anything confusing.

I've never seen a mechanical lever that works with those. There are a lot of us who would gladly pay for new levers if they were matchmaker compatible, but unfortunately no company seems to think it's worth their time and money to engineer one and bring it to market

I wonder if some grassroots...... for lack of better word.... petitioning would help with this?
Anyone want to create a facebook group for this?
