    marta - sticky lever anyone?

Hi Magura experts. Has anybody encountered this problem: rear brake lever stays depressed after braking?

Clean the lever, invert it and apply a bit of brake fluid to the piston. Cycle the lever a few times. That should eliminate the problem.
Happened to me on 2 different brake levers (Martas), this fixed the problem permanently both times.
Canadian distribution: X-Fusion Shox, Rand Momentum lube and Canadian Shield fenders.

    Thanks ssteel for the suggestion.

I didn't have any of the Magura oil so I went to the friendly folks at Sunshine who helped me out. Before going I cleaned the area with a spray of rubbing alcohol. After we applied lube to the lever piston, the action did get better, but then another trick was tried that really freed everything up; the lever was "wagged" up and down (perpendicular to the normal motion). Whatever the culprit was, it works perfectly now.
