    Marta SL 03 lever play/friction

Recently I bought a 2nd hand set of Magura Marta SL brakes, apparently of production year 2003. They actually work fine, but lever feel is hampered by the plastic bushings that hold the levers...
Not so bad on the rear brake, but crap on the front, where there is play and friction in the lever travel... I guess I need to replace the plastic bushings?

I'm just wondering, is this a frequent wear issue with the Martas? Although these are from 03, they have never been used much. Do the bushings wear this easily?

Any ideas on were to find affordable replacements, and how hard it is to do?

    Thanks a bunch!

You can get a kit with the bushings for about $20 from It comes with parts for both sides.
I needed the parts because I lost my reach adj bolt

    About wear,
I didnt have an issue with 6 months of use. But, my buddy had to replace his bushings once in 2 yrs.
Lead by my Lefty............... right down the trail, no brakes.
