    Magura Marta question

OK guys.....I'm not too experienced with brakes but here is my question

I just installed new Magura Marta SL's and it seem like I have to pull the levers far to get the pads to engage. I replaced old Marta SL's and they would have limited play in the lever before I would feel them engage.
I shortened the hose on the front could it be that there is air in the hose? I also used the screw adjustment to bring the levers in...could that be it?

How do get the pads to engage with limited amount of pull on the lever?

probably air in the hose. Are the pads moving back at all when u release the lever?

try doing the opposite of the screw adjustments and see if that changes
but usually it a bad bleed.
