    Magura Louise/Louise BAT owners

getting ready to pull the trig on Magura Louise to replace my Shimano XTR brakes for all-mountain/light FR, and have a few questions for people who used them:
    • How necessary is the BAT system? Did you find setting it crucial to the brake feel?
    • Modulation and power - I've read the reviews but a lot of them are several years older. I assume the newer brakes have good power but do they modulate well?
    • Levers are very long, I like mine really at the tip of my finger. Has anyone ran them successfully on the *inside* of the shifters?

    Thanks for the help!
If I work to pay for my rides - then why am I at work right now??

Running the brake levers inside of the shifter will depend on your shifters. The brake levers most likely will not fit if you are using Shimano trigger shifters with the display window. XTR shifters do not have the window. XT shifters have removeable windows.

get the BAT, you can adj the lever feel to match left and right.
