Magura Louise Bat lever feel - needs a bleed?.

After the first couple of spring rides my wife's set of 2009 Louise Bats are working but the lever feel is very "spongy" and they need to be pulled pretty much to the bar to get a full lock on the disc.

I've not had a set of Magura's before but have heard they have a softer lever feel but they don't feel right to me. The brakes were fitted at the end of last summer and haven't seen a great deal of action in the last few months, with Magura's 5 year guarantee and no signs of any leakage I would be surprised if they need a bleed/service, any opinions???

More than likely, your brakes need a bleed. My Louise brakes feel quite positive when they make contact with the pads. The good thing is that Magura's are a joke to bleed, and the bleed kits are pretty cheap.

If you go to their site, they have videos on hose cuts, and brake bleeds.
