Magura Louise 08 bleed, can I overfill so I have a quicker engagement?

I'm thinking that I'd like to have the brakes engage quicker than they do now. Even while my Louises have the BAT, changing the settings with the BAT does not make much difference, so I donīt know if putting more oil make a difference, and if there would be more damage or risk of doing that.

Hey rzozaya, There is a problem with overfilling your system in that when the pads are replaced with new fat fresh ones, you won't have enough room in the caliper to prevent the pads from dragging.
Aside from that, overfilling won't affect the feel of the brake as the pads will self adjust automatically according to design. The calipers rubber seals dictate this engagement point and not the BAT. The BAT only adjust how much movement the lever blade swings prior to engaging the master pistons movement.
Those vintage Louise BAT's should have real good feel and power so I am suspecting a little air in the system or wear in the assembly and linkage of the lever blade or BAT components.

Thanks Jude... I'll rebled them. I really like the brakes, I went some time for Elixirs but I think that the Louises has been a more stable product.

I really had left the Louises in a box and just reinstalled them yesterday (still no ride yet) and so far the level feels good without having me to rebleed, on saturday I'll pay strong attention to see how they work and will update, thanks
