Louise BAT calipers with Marta SL rotors?

Is this possible? Any of you guys have experience with this? Competitivecyclist said that this is not recommended. They recommend using the Magura SL and NOT the Marta SL rotors. I really want the look of the Marta SL discs. Help!

The problem is that the brake pads from Louise and Marta brakes are different widths, so the swept area of the rotor is different for each pad. The Louise has a larger swept area so when used with a Marta rotor, the pad scrapes a fair distance down the rotor spokes. It doesn't take long for the rotor spokes to get thin and this could cause a failure in the rotor.
My video techniques can be found in this thread.

The ultra-rare Avid Clean Sweep Serpentine wavy rotors look/work just like the Marta SL/Galfer wave rotors, and should work well with your Louise brakes. Here is where to find them:

As stated above, the Marta SL will not do well with the Louise calipers.

The Magura SL drilled rotors are better for heat and durability anyway. The VentiDisc rotors are kind of heavy, but are pretty............

    Venti it is

I might as well use ventidiscs as I prefer magura rotors on magura calipers. Kinda pretty too. Thanks.

I think that the Louise OEM come with the SL rotors. I like the Ventis, they have worked pretty good so far.

Yeah, but I think the marta was the redesigned one, not the Louise. The Louise remains as the same brake it is since 2004 or so with very slight upgrades.
