    lever reach adjustment stripped on hayes

    Stupid me put too much loc-tite on my always-backing out 2003 hayes mag lever reach adjustment screws. Wait, it gets worse. I stripped the tiny allen heads out.

    Anyone know if I can get it out, and replace it? I'm looking to sell them but don't want to write the ad with, "Reach screws are stripped and in the maximum reach position, so if you have small hands, you're screwed (no pun intended)."

    Sounds like you used the red loctite instead of the blue loctite. You could try using an EZ-out to remove them. available from hardware stores. As for the replacement, I believe the sdjustment screws are integrated into the bladder/internals. The internals are replaceable. The following sites usually have the parts available:
