I have a set of xt 08 brakes and after one race I noticed that I had more dust at one brake lever than the other...Also, at the surrounding part of the bleed nipple there was a little dust like the one that is atracted due to some oil remaining near the area. The brakes performed well during the race. I changed pads this weekend and also clean them, I want to know if there`s a risk of this brakes leaking oil?...I have bleeded them in the past (like 4 times, because of sucessive bad bleedings until I DID learn how to do it properly). Everything is tight enough so I don`t think that there`s leaks because of loose screws.
Also, there`s no traces of mineral oil where the bike is stored and I have had the lever pressed with a rubber band for 3 hours, without seeing any oil arround the lever or the bleeding niple...
So, could it be that I`m paranoid or what?...They don`t feel mushy or like "with an air buble in the lines"...
thanks a lot guys!
