I came across a post today which finally solved my lazy piston problem. I dont remeber where i saw it so i decided to make a new thread regarding the problem because i have not seen this solution posted before (except on above mentioned post.)
My rear Hone brake had a lazy right side piston.. it worked but the left side was out WAY more than the rigth. The post i came across explained how that retaining spring can cause such problems, along with uneven wear of pads!! In all my searching i have not come across that info. Anyways, i took out the spring, straigthened the 4 ends and bent both sides inward a bit and guess what, problem solved! ( i may have previously bent the spring incorrectly causing said problem.)
Hope that helps someone. The original post even mention removing the retaining spring altogether.
