Kool Stop salmon pads = awesome

Bought an older Rockhopper to convert to a commuter/town bike but the canti brakes sucked. Thought about upgrading to a new set of Vs but thought I'd try the Kool Stop Eagle claw II (salmon) first (14 bucks for a full set). Awesome. I almost did an indo on my first test ride. They are quieter too.

I recommend these pads to anyone with canti brakes that seem a little weak.
    Nope, not affiliated...just pleased.

I guess "EVERYONE" didn't know. No newbie here, I'm just a dumb a$$. In my ignorance, I gave them a try and found them to be awesome. Now that I know...that's everyone, I guess, so I ask the moderator to close this thread.

Thanks for pointing this out, Dee

That's not everyone. I'm sure there are others that don't, I didn't. Not sure they care though - ever since I got discs, didn't really care about Vs anymore much less cantis (I had post canti, my god they were a pain to adjust pad contact).
