Kool stop pads + Juicy Ultimate?

I tried to install some Kool Stop pads in my 2009 Juicy Ultimate calipers and they don't fit. The backing plates (aluminum KS-D270A) seem to be about 1mm too long to fit in the caliper opening. Anyone had this problem and is there a solution other than going to another pad manufacturer?

Yes - pistons are seated. It's not the width, it's the length that is giving me trouble.

So if you lay the stock pad and the new pads back to back the new ones are longer.

Yep - that's correct. Maybe I need to get the file out.

At least you got your answer. Always fun to modify something that was originally a slip in job.
