    Kool Stop or Goodridge

I have Elixir CRs and need new pads. Instead of going with Avid pads, I thought I would try Kool Stop or Goodridge replacement pads. Anyone every try these? Thoughts?

I've been using the Kool Stop pads for a couple years now on my Hayes brakes.
    Good quality stuff.
I've heard good stuff about Goodridge pads as well.
I don't think you can go wrong with either.
Look, whatever happens, don't fight the mountain.

I tried Koolstop (sintered-type) last year when I replaced my XT brake pads. Holy CHIT do they bit down hard. If you want increase grab, try sintered-type pads.
