I'm intersted inthe MTN Bike V-brakes application in any color. The reviews say the Salmon color is best but...any info would be appreciated.

The salmon one's are great--last long, work well, easy on your rims. I run 'em on most of my bikes...

Kool Stop V brake pads work.
The shape makes them easy to set up. They give you all the stopping power you can expect from rim brakes (no rim brake can beat disks when it is wet or muddy). They last long.

I've used the Salmons and the dual compounds. They're pretty good.
