Keeping the Elixir 5's need pads?

I had a decision to make on a new purchase between upgrading my brakes or a KS i950R. Decided on the seatpost. So now I need new pads for the Elixir's. So there are organic, sintered, metallic, semi-metallic and I think they make ceramic. Not to mention steel, aluminum or I think copper backplate. I have a 185mm front rotor on my 575. It's more or less set up for all mountain/aggressive XC. I live in Indiana so not really dry or really wet. What are some suggestions? I am leaning toward just the Organic, but with all the choices I am a bit confused.

The organics usually wear faster but are normally quieter than the metallics. But YMMV.

Should work a bit better in occasional wet, and last longer than the organics.
