    Juicy brake lines

I have Juicy 5s on my Specialized, and I want to shorten the rear brake line. When the rear suspension compresse, the cable bows out and hits my leg. I want to take the slack up, but still leave the cable long enough to let the front wheel move like it needs to. I've looked online at Performace, Jenson, and Price Point, but none of them carry Avid brake line. They have Shimano, Hayes, and Hope though. Where can I get new brake lines, incase I make mine too short? I know Goodridge makes braided hoses for the Avids, but I haven't seen a price on them.

Can you just zip tie the housing to the frame? My shifter and brake housing will bow out when my suspension compresses if they are not restricted, but I have both held down with zip ties.
