Jagwire semi-metallic versus metallic brake pads (m525 shimano)

Which pads are better for all around use? What type of pads are stock on the shimano m525 disc brakes? Also, about 18 for the semi's and 22 for the metallic, is that unreasonable or too high from an LBS? Bike is an 03 Enduro.

Metallic pads for Shimano Deore? When did THAT happen???

Standard pads are resin, and when they get wet they aren't too good. Solution for this would be metallic pads, but I have not been able to find them. If the Jagwire pads ARE metallic, even a little bit, then that would be the best option by a loooooooooong way!

How much metal they got anyway?
