Jagwire HyFlow Avid vs. Shimano Hydraulic Hose

Anyone know if there is a difference between the two hoses? Jagwire says specifically designed for a direct replacement of OEM hose without affecting modulation. So what is different about them? ID, OD, stiffness?

    Thanks

I have replaced my std juicy's hose with the Jagwire stuff and if anything the modulation is better.
Be careful however theres a few knobs on Ebay selling the older fixed type usually for the Juicy's as QUICK FIT, so triple check. I double checked and still was delivered the fixed juicy hose, er in white if anyone wants it.

I swapped out my shimano hydraulic cables for Jagwire Hydra Flow, mainly because i really like the red one`s

I think they were a slightly bigger diameter internally than the shimano`s that they replaced. Hard to compare as my XT`s were needing bled anyway(spongy), but they have absolutely no negative effect on braking that`s for sure.

The jagwires work great for me.

I just installed some M820 calipers on my M9000 brake levers. Shimano said they recommend the Saint specific brake line... but that seems like a ploy to get people to spend more money. Especially with using M9000 brake levers, I don't see how the Saint brake line would be an improvement over my HiFlow setup.
