I need help adjusting shimano deore LX hydro brakes

    Hi Guys,
I need some help adjusting my hydro brakes, really, just the front one. the front brake has some drag, which is funny because it never had drag until I got caught in a thunderstorm one day. Now if its moving around, its dragging a bit which makes it squeal at slow speeds. The rotor does not appear to be warped and I did check QR tension. I also cleaned rotor with alcohol. What else can I do to adjust this? Thanks!

Was the ride muddy? Try sanding the pads. Also, try recentering the caliper. Does the brake squeal only when applying the brake, or all the time?

well, I was coming down a dirt road at a high rate of speed. I will try to sand the pads some. The brakes do not squeal when on them, only when going slow.

Are your rotors discoloured, if so you may have to refinish the surface of the rotors as well.

Bet you cooked em. I had to replace pads and resurface the rotor.
