    I love my 2012 xt brakes

    The only company I'd buy disc brakes from is Shimano.. 4-pot XT, servowave XT, new XTR, all faultless. The performance is stunning.

    How about the new SLX? Does anyone know if there is much of a difference between the SLX and the XT? They look pretty similar and both have the ice-tech "radiator" pads, etc. Is it only a difference in materials, with the SLX being a little heavier? I'd love to save some coin if the SLX is basically the same. Thanks.

    slx offer a excellant bang for the $$$$....go for them
