Hydraulics with Alt-Bars
I am building up a 20" Surly Karate Monkey frame and originally planned on putting on Avid BB 7 brakes, but realized I can get a deal on Juicy 3s for almost the same price. My hesitation is a fear of dealing with hose length while I'm experimenting with alternative bars (e.g. On-One Mary Bars or Titec H or J Bars). I'm thinking there shouldn't be too much of an issue, but I really don't want to deal with bleeding the brakes and changing hose lengths.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
Thanks
