how to upgrade to Hayes Mech Disc brakes

    1st post.
Did not lurk to learn faux pas.

I have a stock 2003 Kona Cinder Cone. I guess I need new hubs to upgrade to Hayes Mechanical disc brakes right? Please advise.

Yes, you need disc hubs so you can bolt the rotors on. You can either have your rims rebuilt with new hubs or sell your old wheels and buy new. I would reccomend the Avid bb7 mechanical disc brakes. Maybe a little more expensive to start but a much better rep. I've been using them since they first came out with zero problems.
I got some bad ideas in my head.

    My Hubs are stock.
    NE new Hub/Wheel recommendations?
PS I'm not too worried about weight.
