    How do i know?

How do i know if i have air in my hydrolic brake's system? Its my first bike with hydros and im not sure, but i think i might have air in my system. The levers are kinda spongy but not very much, are they supposed to or are they supposed to be stiffer when the pads are pressed to the disc? Please light me up on this.

Spongey levers are usually the tell-tale sign of air in the system.

Can i live with air in my brake's system or is it recommended to fix that?

Fix it. You wouldn't want air in your car brakes would you?

You could if you had a bleed kit. But best bet is to take it to your LBS and see how they do it.

    try this.

zip tie the levers to the bar, (tight) and leave the bike standing overnight. I have found that this sometimes forces a small amount of air to the master cylinder, adn stiffens up the feel at the levers.
    gfy
