How do I assemble this brake booster?

A friend gave me this used brake booster for my girlfriend's bike.
I wasn't able to install it. I am not sure if my friend gave me all the parts, or if I am missing something.

The problem I find is that the part I labeled as "C" has a "lip" on only one side. If I install it with it pressing towards the v-brake, the v-brake arms won't move. If I install it the other way, the booster would come off...

    What am I missing?

Do you see enough flex on the seat stays to make it worth the hassle of installing a brake booster? There's likely more flex in the Tektro brake arms than the seat stays.

I can definitely see the seatstays flex. May be 5 mm each.

So... am I missing some part to assemble this booster?

Looks like all the parts compared to the boosters I've got, but just for s&g how about a pic of the way you installed it? Sounds like you're orienting "C" correctly at least...

There should be 2 of the "C" pieces per side, arranged such that they clamp the booster.

Ok, that's what I am missing. I have only 2 "C" pieces, not 4. Thanks!
