I used to run a Shimano LX (585) brake in the front. However, it has started to leak, and I'm looking to make the jump to a better quality brake.
I initially wanted to buy a Hope M4- but I found out that I can get a Hope V4 for the same price.
I figured that I might as well go with the stronger brake for the same price as that of a M4.
However, I am wondering if a V4 will work with my existing 160mm front rotor? From what I understand the V4 is designed for 183/203mm rotors (vented).
I am running a 160mm Hope floating rotor (non-vented). Would I run into any issues with swapping out my LX with the V4 caliper?
