    Hope V2/M4

Thoughts for a dh bike, a V2 up front and M4 out back? I love the look of the M4, but know the V2 is more powerful.
    S-Works all the bikes!

I'm running that setup on my aggressive all mountain bike (Banshee Rune) and like it. I have an 8in front rotor with the V2 and a 7in rotor with the M4 out back. I haven't ridden any extended downhills on the bike yet as that doesn't exist in Missouri. From my standpoint, the V2 far excels the M4 in stopping power, but the smaller rotor size may contribute to that feeling. Overall, it doesn't feel unbalanced; more like I can really brake strongly by relying on the V2 to do its job. Another factor, i honestly dont know what pad material shipped with the M4 - i know the V2 came with sintered. For a DH bike, i wouldnt put an M4 up front. Never had any brake fade, but again, no extended downhills. With my setup geared towards all mountain type riding, I would probably go Formula to shave a lot of weight if I were to do it again.
