    Hope Mini - do I need a bleed >?

Hey - I have some Hope Minis on my Turner 5 Pack. The rear brake keeps locking up on me. I separate the pads (gently ) with a screwdriver and it spins fine until I have to apply real hard pressure - then it locks up. Do I just need a bleed or is there a bigger issue?

If a little is good...a lot must be great!- B.J. McVane

When was the last bleed? It's a possibility that the fluid could have deteriorated before the development of air bubbles, yes, but there's more we need to go on.

I have a rule where if someone asks if they need a bleed, then they should bleed to reduce that as being a possibility.

Also, try lubing the pistons with a small bit of DOT brake fluid as well and just work them back and forth.

If that doesn't work, then you might be in for a seal replacement.
