    Hope and Marta rotors?

Anyone running Hope M4s with Marta rotors? Any problems? I need to replace a rotor and I can get great deals on Martas. The floating rotors are really expensive. Wonder if it would help with the noise issue I have?

    Hey B!

The Marta rotors have a pretty narrow track (I can measure it if you want) and I am worried that with a wider pad, they would heat up too much and not provide enough surface to cover the whole brake pad. Magura recommends them only for the lightweight Marta brakes, while for every other brake in the lineup they recommend the drilled SL rotors (wider and thicker).

The M4 needs a 13mm brake track; if that's any help.

tiSS'er, your noise is much more likely to do with alignment and/or contamination.
