    Hone disc brakes- opinions wanted?

I have recently seen some really low closeout prices on the Shimano Hone ST-600 hydro dual control levers and M-601 203mm calipers/rotors.Is there a reason not to buy the Hone parts? They appear to be very similar to the LX 585 system with a different paint scheme. Not able to find any reviews. Thanks for any replies.

I recall seeing somewhere that the hone is slightly heavier than lx. Not sure though. If it is, then its a little better for preventing fade, but essentially theyre the same brake. Big rotors, good pads and it'll take anything except the gnarliest downhill action (and even there im sure it will function solidly). Price/performance ratio is TOPS.

They are the same as the LX, just a different color. The LX caliper is being blown out at several online shops (such as Performance and whatnot) for 25-30 dollars.
