New question here. HFX-9 factory pressed fitting

I have to change the hydrolic brake line on my rear Hayes HFX-9s. and after I placed the order for the HFX-9 specific brake line (with the factory pressed fitting on the caliper end) it arrived with a fitting that doesnt look anything like the one I have right now and it doesnt look like it will fit on the caliper. Its basically similar to the one that came originallly w/ the brake but it has a (banjo?) ring attachment at the end rather than a straight tube insert thingie. the instructions show only the original fitting, theres no word whats so ever on this ring fitting in the instructions or the website. It says HFX-9 brake line on the packaging so I would think this is the right one. these brakes are 3mos old.
    Am I missing something here?
Here's a pic of the 'ring' fitting and the caliper with the original fitting.
