ive had these brakes for the past year and never worked right. bled them a thousand times they feel good and a day later they press against the pads so its harder to ride. ive taken it up to mulholland and rode down laurel canyon and it was bad (a local street in los angeles). im thinking of gettin rid of them for shimanos i like shimano

Are doing the bleed yourself? They are not easy to bleed but I've found that it takes a long time to do the perfect bleed but they do work well for a long time if done correctly. Perhaps you can try taking it to a shop for bleeding. Food for thought.

As for aligning the calipers correctly, Avid has great instructions online. Just be patient and you'll get them down. Good luck!
