    Hayes Stroker front brake problems!

I just got a new bike with Hayes Stroker brakes and the front brake doesn't have any pressure at all. The caliper does grab the disc but there is a lot of drag (won't spin freely). has anyone had this problem or know how to fix it? I reset the piston in the caliper and still don't have anything to work with. I need help.

I'm guessing that your new bike did not come from a local bike shop. But if it did, obviously you need to take it back there. Otherwise, I suggest that you email Hayes about the problem. I had a problem with some Hayes Stroker Trails, and they were extremely helpful. Check the Hayes website and you'll find their tech support email address.

If by no pressure you mean mushy lever feel, that's the classic sign of air in the system. See if a good bleed won't cure it.
