    Haye's Shimano brake adapter the same ?

    I have a set of Haye's disc brakes and looking @ a set of Shimano XT 775 brakes - will the Haye's caliper brake adapters work ? Thanx

    shouldnt make any difference, if they both work on the frame then they should both work unless the rotor is different i.e 180mm vs 185mm

    Just like dan0 said, 160mm adapter should be fine, for the bigger sizes not so.

    180mm a no go ?

    dont see why not
    all the adapter does is move the caliper mounts further away, yet aligned with the original mounts. Shimano front IE mounts are +20 on the rear (a 160 rear will be 180 front)
    not sure if the Hayes rotors are compatible
