    Hayes overextension?

While I had my pads off my HFX-Mags, one of my not-so-smart friends squeezed the lever 50 times until the caliper pistons were all the way out. When I pushed the pistons back in to put some pads in, the brakes will no longer compress and the lever just goes to the bar. I tried bleeding them twice with no luck. Whats more, when I take out the bleeder screw, brake fluid comes out, which isn't normal for them. There don't appear to be any leaks, but I don't want to replace my master cylinder cartride unless it is really bad. Any ideas?

Bummer, Unless you are good at understanding the workings of your disc brakes and are mechanically inclined. You should probably head to your LBS. Sounds like you blew out the diaphram and wil need to be replaced. Dang, I hate it when that happens .
