Is there a reason you don't have Avid mech. discs on that list?

For my money, discs are the way to go. They offer consistant powerful performance, with better modulation than v brakes.

I have not ridden the Deore mechs, but, the Deore hydros are on par with the Avid mechs on my hardtail. My wife's bike has the Hayes mechs on it, and they lag far behind the Avids. Avid mechanicals are generally about the same price as the Hayes mechs, and slightly cheaper than the Deore hydros. Cambria, Pricepoint, and Beyond Bikes all have them for less than $70 ea.

i didnīt mention the avids because i cant find them in my country, there are no avid delaers in mexico, i dont know why.

so i have to choose between the ones i can find.

    deore mech or hayes mx2.

iīve noticed (by reading reviews) that avids are the way to go, but i cant get them in this country.

between this options whath brakes should i choose
