New question here. Hayes HFX Comp Disc Brake problem

I have a porblem with the brake levers not working properly. The problem is is that the brake lever do not retract properly. I use 6 inch rotors.

    Two possible factors:
    1. Heavy downhill biking, at Fujimi Panarama, in Nagano, Japan.
    2. The use of thread lock to stop the brake lever from readjusting from what they are set to.

Take in mind that I have had these for less than 6 months. I have 2 possible conclusions of what my problem may be.

    1. My master cylinder is blown do to high elevation and I need to replace it.

    OR

    2. I need to re-bleed my hyraulic brake system for the same reason.

Mind yo0u that this happened to both front and rear brake levers. Hope somebody can help me out.

    THREADLOCK!!

I did the same thing last week, threadlocked the little reach adjustment screws to stop them coming loose, and noticed my levers weren't returning properly.

Unscrew the levers, both where they pivot and where the piston attaches, so they come completely off. Then see if the little round bit where the piston screws into (the bit which comes loose normally) is loose. It should be. If it's not (mine wouldn't move!) force them out of the lever, clean them and lube up a bit. Stick it all back together and hey presto... !
