    Hayes conversion

Is it possible to change the lever of my HFX 9XC to a shimano XT dual control lever/shifter?
Wanted to upgrade my shifter and realised that Shimano don't make any more XT or XTR shifer unit.

No you can not use the new dual control levers with Hayes hydro brakes. The XT and XTR shifter pods are still available- just check jensonusa.com- $65 for XT , $149 for XTR or $49 for SRAM Shimano compatible trigger shifters.
    I bike; therefore, I work
