I am rebuilding my hydraulic brakes, front is a Hayes Stroker Trail and the back is Hayes HFX 9. I had purchased this bike used a few months previously and am slowly cleaning/rebuilding it.
The problem is this; I cannot budge the bridge bolts. I have not touched these brakes besides bleeding and am figuring that the bolts are "frozen" in there. I would try penetrating oil &/or massive torque to budge the bolts but am afraid of ruining the calipers. I have never had this problem before, and any tricks of the trade would be greatly appreciated.
Cheers, and happy riding.
