Bought a pair of gen 1 Codes, and they sat for a few years. Working to get them up to speed now. One of the lever assemblies needs to be rebuilt, since it was hyper extended and now the internals don't line up.
I have used every available circlip tool to remove the circlip. Unfortunately, each one is too big and do not allow the end to reach the circlip.
Knipex tools seems to be an appropriate option. I am reaching out the wide wool intrawebs to see if someone has experience disassembling Avid Codes and what circlip tool you used?
I have identified two possible options...
Any handy person have experience with a Knipex or other tool that will work?
