    Galfer Rotors and Pads

i've heard these things are pretty awesome.
    anyone have experience with them?
i'm considering upgrading my hardtail's 6" rear avid mech
to a galfer rotor and pads.
    is ~$80 worth it?

    Love 'em.
Not much power difference in the dry. Noticeably better in the wet. Much better pad life.

(Compared to EBC Golds) Better modulation. Slightly less outright power.
The trouble with common sense is it is no longer common
