Formula RO brakes on a XC bike..

Thoughts on this? I'm currently running the avid CR's on my Cannondale carbon 29er. HATE THEM! Think these RO's are overkill for such a light bike? Deals almost to good to pass up on tho

There's no such thing as overkill, or if there is I haven't found it yet. I'm currently running a Saint front & Zee rear on my hardtail XC/trail bike and it works just fine. Rotor size is 180/160, Shimano RT-76 on the front and a Hayes V6 on the back. Took me one ride to adjust to the much greater power of my brakes but after that it's been awesome, no locked wheels, no skids, just perfect control with gobs of power. I say go for it!
