Formula the One potential brake damaged!?

    Hi,

I have the stunning, nay uber stunning, Formula The One brake.

I have unfortunalty had problems with the rear brake, it's gone back to freeflow bikes 3 times and they can't seem to fix it!

The back brake had an internal leak so would slowly lose pressure, when pumped it would have full force but the lever would slowly move to the bar until it reached and lost power.
the movement would take 30secondish so unless dragging the breaks it wasn't a problem.
Freeflow took it back and said degreaser may have got on the seals and replaced them.

The slow leak has gone, unfortunatly the new problem is infuriating. it now needs a double pump to work. first tap will almost hit the lever, with no power, 2nd tap will work fine. as long as I keep tapping the pwer stays, as soon as I leave off for a few seconds it needs a double tap to get power again.

I almost considered ditching it for my old XT until I remembered the cost!

    WHY DOESN'T MY BRAKE WORK!!!!!

Also I am curious about one thing, either my memory is off or the adjuster reversed on the last service from freeflow.
The levers are reversible so one bite point adjuster should move the opposite way to the other. Now to move the bite point closer both levers move up.
I am misremembering or has freeflow reversed the mechanism?
Would this be related to the problem?

I may be way off, but it sounds like it wasn't bled properly after they fixed it, almost like there is not enough fluid in the brake.

They are supposed to be masters on this brake which is why I use them, then again they have made a few school-boys.

    Do you have a set?

I am curious to know if I have imagined the adjuster reversing

Probably because it is "the stunning, nay uber stunning, Formula The One brake."

    Sorry...I just couldn't resist.
