    Formula K24's

    Hey guys,

I have formula K24s on both my wifes bike and my own and have noticed that on the front brakes on both of our bikes the front brake lever doesnt want to return forward. My wifes bike if worse than mine and requires a push forward to get it to return to its position.

I first thought I was just gummed or dirty but since i is happening on both bikes in the same manner that it may be something else.

    Any ideas?

    Bleed them.
for what ever reason, this seems to work with my k18
Lead by my Lefty............... right down the trail, no brakes.

The pivots are probably gummed up, just remove the levers clean thoroughly, a little grease and you will be set

I'm going to try both ideas when I get home. I cant understand how they got gummed up. It is seriously my bike's 5th ride. never ridden in mud and very little dust..

    Thanks for the suggestions!

I think sometimes during bleeding there is a little spillage and the break fluid causes the picvots to gum, pulling the levers is a 5 minute job, i'd try that first

Try calling Formula. The early Oros were prone to developing this problem, and Formula has since changed the material of the master cylinder piston. Mine had super-slow lever return, and Formula fixed 'em for me.
