    Formula K18 problem

Just put these on and the rear pads rub on the disk. So much that if I spin the rear wheel it will only turn for about two revolutions What do I need to do to stop this?

It is not the shims that are the problem its the actual distance between the pads seems to short, so the disk is somewhat cramped inbetween the pads with no enough space.

Force the pads apart, then reset?

Push the pads apart, then pull the lever to reset them against the rotor, or push them apart, then try to reset the caliper's alignment?
