    Formula FCS adjuster

I had Formula the One brakes in my previous bike and now have an other set of The Ones in my current bike. The current ones came without the FCS adjusters, so later I bought the adjusters separately. I tried to install them but something doesn't click now.

I can install the adjuster to the lever and then the hose to it. The problem is the adjuster barrel doesn't turn at all, not in to either direction. Only way I can make it move is to leave it loose from the lever, but then it just unscrews from the lever.

Should the outside barrel (the gold/red/black anodized part) of the adjuster turn in relation to the inner parts of the adjuster?
Since I couldn't find any moving parts from my FCS adjusters

Can anyone figure out what gives?

Yes, that barrel *should* turn. I have two sets of the FCS adjusters and a couple of the barrels were VERY STIFF and hard to turn when they first arrived. After getting frustrated and scratching my head for a while, I gave brute force a try. I grabbed the barrel with some pliers, using a few layers of folded up inner tube for padding, and gave it a twist. Yep, it moved.

After a few cycles of winding the barrel in and out, it loosened up.

Yep, force was what was needed. Thanks for advice.
If in doubt, use more muscle...
