Formula brake pads wearing out fast!!!

    Hi all!

I have Fourmula K18 brakes on my bike and I mostly use SwissStop brake pads. I find them realy good for what I need.
But my problem is that they only seem to last for 10 rides (especially the front one!!) and then I have to get myself new ones! And they are not cheap!

    Is it the pads?
Is it because my front disc is bigger than the rear one?
Is it that Formula brakes that simply don't spare brake pads?
Is it the way I brake??

Anybody has similar experiences with Formula?

    Cheers guys!

Go faster? j/k That's weird, my stock pads lasted a LONG time on my K18's. I put EBC's on a couple of years ago, but have barely ridden since then to know how they are holding up. I did get softer pads for better stopping though. Now, I am having issues with my rear brake and need to contact Formula.

Formula semi-metallic / organic pads wear fast, especially when wet. I switched to Formula sintered metallic pads, which last much longer. Not sure if the SwissStop pads behave similar to Formula pads with respect to semi-metallic and sintered.

I've been using the Alligator sinter pads with Alligator AR-08 rotors with my K24's and getting great pad life. They are only a $1.97 a pair at Pricepoint.

    hmmmm
    sounds strange...
could it be wearing out so fast because my front rotor is bigger than rear?
