    formula the 1 noise

    Hi all
I have CUBE FRITZE with the a.m. brakes, they are doing a great job but my front brake making noise of pads/disc touching all the time when the speed increase, its not a matter of adjusment. they noise come and go loader and less loud with out any reasonable reason.

the technition keep telling me that its normal behviure with bis discs??.....
I have friends with big discs (not the one) but with out no noise problem.

does any one faced such a thing.

I guess this is a relatively common problem with disc brakes. There are a few things that could cause this sound: your caliper may not be centered, your rotor may not be true, your hub bearings may be worn/pitted, and your wheel may not be installed correctly. I used to own a set of the ones and loved them before I got rid of the bike. Good luck.

    Second Opinion

Have another mechanic look at the brakes.
My 'One's', make no such noise. But, I remember my S.Cruz Superlight had a crappy hub that was forged incorrectly and their was no cure until I changed my wheel. Some bike/wheels have weird harmonics that set up noise.
Did your brakes always make noise or is this a new phenomenon?
